Moroccanoil Treatment

Moroccanoil

With the arrival of Summer, it is important to give your hair that extra bit of TLC. Hair can become limp and lifeless by the over powering sun therefore it is necessary to give it a boost to help return it to its natural glory. Having returned from a week abroad, I noticed my hair had become dry and brittle. I wanted a quick fix to help restore and nourish it back to its healthier state.

After hearing rave reviews I decided to try the Morrocanoil Treatment. Although slightly more expensive than other hair products, the Morrocanoil hair treatment has been designed to treat hair damaged by heat, styling and environmental factors. The product not only nourishes hair but can also be applied as a styling and finishing tool.

After reading the instructions, I applied the treatment to damp hair. I did have concerns the product might be too greasy however the oil was light and easy to apply. As my hair begun to dry it felt smoother and easier to handle. The appearance of my hair had dramatically improved in addition to its health.

As British summer continues, I regularly use the Moroccanoil Treatment. I would highly recommend the treatment as it provides fantastic results and not only makes your hair look great – but feel great too.

L’Oreal Paris – Skin Perfection Correcting Day Moisturiser

L’Oreal Paris – Skin Perfection Correcting Day Moisturiser

L'Oreal 2

L’Oreal Paris have recently launched a new range of facial products – Skin Perfection. Targeting the younger woman, the products have been designed for every day use to enhance the appearance of your skin and to provide protection. L’Oreal have identified that women within their 20’s-30’s can often suffer with imperfections, enlarged pores and an uneven skin texture.

Finding a suitable moisturiser can often be tricky. Some products can either be too greasy and heavy or lightweight and ineffective. However L’Oreal Paris – Skin Perfection Correction Day Moisturiser is the perfect balance. Contained within a beautifully designed container the product looks very appealing. Upon application, the moisturiser was light and absorbed well into my skin. It provided a perfect base before applying my make up within the morning. The delicate scent is an added bonus and leaves skin feeling refreshed and nourished.

After using this product for a couple of weeks I have noticed a positive difference. My skin looks more supple and is glowing after I apply the moisturiser. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to try something new. I am looking forward to trying the other products within the Skin Perfection range, particularly the serum.

The Lost Twenty-Something

Blog

I tell you what, it is bloody hard being a twenty-something. You can be whoever you want to be. You can do exactly what you want to do. Life is what you make it. It is one of the first times in your life you can dictate exactly what direction you want your life to follow. However is it really that simple?

The multitude of options can often be daunting and can result in you questioning decisions; have I chosen the right career?/should I go travelling?/what the hell am I doing with my life? Having graduated a few years ago, I was unsure of what path to take. In a rush to secure a job, I soon fell into the routine of a 9-5. I would meet with friends, who would discuss their exciting jobs, moving into new places and living a new life in London. I would always leave feeling underwhelmed with my current status and wanting more. After a year of routine, I decided to embark on a new adventure. I quit my job and begun interning in different PR agencies within London. A total shock to the system, I felt like I was reliving “The Devil Wears Prada”. For all the highs I experienced there were just as many lows. After not earning for 6 months and forever feeling like the new girl I felt completely lost. I was a twenty-something with no career, living at home with not a scooby of what I wanted to do. The pressure I had placed on myself had become too overwhelming.

But then I saw this quote. It is all too common these days for people to have a mid-twenty crisis. We all want so much from life and if your anything like me, I want it all now. However I have learnt to view life from a different perspective. Rather than worrying about the future, enjoy the present. Who knows what tomorrow may bring. Appreciate the small things in life. Never worry about what other’s think – do what makes you happy.

One thing I have learnt is life will throw many things your way. But rather than worrying about the bigger picture – live life like each day is an adventure.
